What Causes Wrinkles?
Wrinkles and memories of some type of skin event such as muscle movement or loss of collagen and elastin. Wrinkles are visible because they are lower than the surrounding skin. This occurs because water absorbs the wavelength of a CO2 laser beam causing it to heat up. When it releases its energy (dissipates heat) it causes the fibroblast cells (cells that make collagen and elastin) to turn back on and make collagen and elastin.
